Ryan Buenafe: DTNL (+100000)
Dahil ang Tunay na Lalake, kahit magaling tumira ng tres, hinding-hindi nagpapatira at tumutuwad sa kapwa TNL.
Pota.
As for “OMG”, it’s cute on Facebook Twitter and SMS. There’s an ongoing debate kung TNL ang mga lalaking nagsasabi nito sa mga social networking sites. However, it’s safe to say that O-M-G in real convos should be banned for any guy. However, any woman saying O-M-G in real life is cute especially if she holds a Senior Citizen ID.
Here is the breakdown of expenses of the dubbed “SK CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM” held last September 17-21, 2010 at Iloilo, Palawan and Manila by the SK Federation of Iloilo City.
Sep 18
fare from Residence to Pier = 300 pesos (via cab)
fare from Iloilo City to Puerto Princesa pier = 1,650 (via boat)
registration fee = 5,170.00
per diem = 2,400 (800 pesos per day)
Sep 19
fare from Puerto Princesa Pier to Hotel = 300.00
September 21
Terminal Fee (Manila Airport) = 200.00
Fare (connecting flight from Puerto Princesa to Manila to Iloilo) = 6,800.00
September 21 (arrival at Iloilo)
Fare Iloilo pier to Residence = 300.00
TOTAL= 17,500.00
There were 75 people who came to this trip. The entire expenses went as much as 1.3 Million Pesos.
Points to ponder:
1. SK Term is ending. Why spend so much on capability building when in fact this should have been done at the beginning of their term?
2. Why Palawan? Of all places to hold seminars and conferences in, why choose Palawan?
3. Taxi fare at 300 pesos each. OH MY GOD. OUR SK OFFICIALS FROM THE AIRPORT TO THEIR HOTEL RODE ON SEVENTY FIVE SEPARATE TAXICABS!
4. Why first class hotel Hotel Fleuris that charges 6,000 a night?
5. Why did they book with travel agency that charges extra for every trip? The public pays staff members of SK Fed president to precisely do these things.
6. SCAP has held trainings for more than a hundred members with budget below 50,000 pesos and we actually do make waves more. (hehe)
7. SK Federation Regular session usually has less than twenty SK chairmen in attendance (out of 180). Dahil may Palawan trip, magically um-appear ang 75 SK!
8. When asked what she learned during her Palawan trip, SK Sto Nino Sur Chairperson Cathy Abangan said, “Tinlo (clean) ang Palawan!”.
9. When asked the importance of the trip, SK Fed President Mabilog said, “We’ll impart what we learned to future SK leaders”.
SK FED PRESIDENT JANJAN MABILOG, THE BEST WAY TO IMPART LESSONS TO FUTURE LEADERS IS THROUGH EXAMPLE. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT.
NOW TELL ME THIS ISN’T CORRUPTION.

TUNAY NA BATANG LALAKE!

This conversation between the MMDA and the Inquirer is surreal for me. Twitter does make everyone connected and in effect, more personal to each other.
Take note of how MMDA politely answers. They’re like real people (of course people behind are) but I’ve always thought of the two as gargantuan institutions devoid of a personal touch.
Yoohoo for Twitter!
